Getting started with Mustr
Welcome to Mustr
Mustr is Australian workforce management with scheduling, time tracking, and Fair Work compliance built in. Here's how to get your team up and running.
Step 1: Set up your location
Go to Settings → Organisation or complete the setup wizard. Add your business location with the correct state and timezone — this affects public holiday calculations and notification timing.
Step 2: Select your industry and award
The setup wizard asks what industry you're in and recommends the right Modern Award. This determines pay rates, penalty rates, and compliance rules applied to your employees.
Step 3: Add your team
Go to Team → Add Employee. Enter their name, email, and employment type (full-time, part-time, casual, or contractor). They'll receive an invite to download the mobile app.
Step 4: Create your first roster
Go to Schedule and drag to create shifts. Assign employees, set times, and click Publish. Your team gets a push notification automatically.
Step 5: Have your team clock in
Employees open the Mustr app, go to the Clock tab, and tap Clock In. GPS location is recorded automatically. Timesheets are generated from clock events.
