Billing

How active-employee billing works

Only pay for active employee records

Mustr uses active-employee billing. You're only charged for employees kept active in Mustr during the billing period.

What counts as "active"

An employee is active if their employee record has status Active during the billing month.

What doesn't count

  • Terminated employees — free
  • Inactive employees — free
  • Archived records — free
  • Seasonal casuals marked inactive between busy periods — free

Example

You have 15 casuals on your system but only 8 are active this month. You pay for 8, not 15. Competitors charge per seat - you'd pay for all 15 plus any terminated records still in the system.

Changing billing cadence

You can move between monthly and annual billing from account settings. The same volume bands apply.
