A structured review of your current compliance posture against the specific obligations a Fair Work Ombudsman inspector is most likely to test. Delivered as a written report you can share with your board, your accountant, or your lawyer.

  • Intake questionnaire and scoping call (45 min)
  • Walk-through of your Mustr tenant: awards assigned, classifications, BOOT history, casual conversion status
  • Review of the last 6 pay runs against the applicable award minimums (BOOT)
  • Casual conversion eligibility check for every casual over 6 months tenure
  • Annualised salary reconciliation review for salaried staff
  • Right-to-disconnect log review and policy gap check
  • Written report (typically 20–30 pages) covering findings, risk-ranked remediations, and a prepared FWO audit pack you can hand over if asked
  • One 30-minute debrief call to walk through the report

Best for

Employers who want independent comfort that their current pay, casual, and right-to-disconnect practices would survive a Fair Work Ombudsman inspection — particularly NDIS, aged care, and hospitality businesses subject to increased FWO enforcement activity.

Turnaround

Custom Award Onboarding

For employers whose pay rules are not fully expressed by the standard modern award — enterprise bargaining agreements, unique classification structures, bespoke penalty regimes, or hybrid pay stacks. We encode your specific rules into the Mustr engine with a reviewable audit trail.

  • Rule specification document you sign off before we build
  • Implementation in the Mustr compliance engine: classifications, penalty tables, allowances, overtime thresholds, loadings, RDOs/TOIL where applicable
  • Reviewable audit trail that shows which clause produced each line item on a payslip
  • Verification pay run over your last month of data, side-by-side against your current payroll output, with differences explained
  • Two 30-minute handover calls (your payroll + your ops)

Best for

Employers with an EBA, a site agreement, legacy overawards, or a classification structure that doesn't fit neatly inside the standard modern award data. Common in construction, aged care, and manufacturing.

Typically 3 weeks from scope sign-off to verified go-live.

Mustr's compliance engine is deterministic and auditable because we built it that way. Services are delivered by the same people who wrote the code — not a reseller or a partner.

Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed price. No hourly rates running unchecked, no creep. If the work needs to grow, we quote the next block.

Shared audit trail

Everything we do lands as artefacts you own: a report, a rule specification document, a verification run. If you change engine in future, you walk away with the paper trail intact.
